Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking a Specialist Behaviour Support Worker to join services based in Caterham and Croydon. You will support individuals with complex communication needs, autism, and a range of learning disabilities, promoting independence and personalised support.

The role involves weekend work, both part-time and full-time hours, and a salary of £29,291.33 (FTE) pro rata. Benefits include extensive learning opportunities and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Desirable - Level 3 Health and Social Care Qualifications or equivalent.
• Essential - Minimum 1 year working with adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and Behaviours of concern.
• Desirable - Valid UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with complex communication needs, autism, and neurodiversity.
• Promote independence, choice and access to community services.
• Assist with daily living tasks, meals, shopping and meal planning.
• Support with personal care and medication management per the support plan.
• Assist with complex health needs, PEG and Stoma Care when trained.
