Qualifications

• Experience in a Complex Care setting is essential.
• Must have Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or be working towards it.
• Ability to adopt a person-centred approach for each customer.
• Experience of positive risk management to keep customers and staff safe.
• Makaton knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living and personal care while prioritising customer choices.
• Collaborate with team, clinical colleagues and families to follow support plans.
• Identify strengths and help customers take small steps at their own pace.
• Promote independence and social inclusion through person-centred support.
• Spot health or mood changes and respond promptly with colleagues.
