Job summary

You will train and support staff in understanding and applying behavioural strategies, work with multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma-informed, least-restrictive practice, and provide clinical input to risk assessments, care plans and crisis prevention

Responsibilities

• Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals with behaviours that challenge
• Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
• Train and support staff in understanding and applying behavioural strategies
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma-informed, least-restrictive practice
• Provide clinical input to risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
• Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting interventions where necessary
• Support referral assessments and contribute to funding/clinical justifications
