Job summary

Isabellas Homes in Dudley, UK, is seeking a dedicated Positive Behaviour Practitioner to join our expanding team. You will complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals with behaviours that challenge and develop PBS plans.

You will train and support staff in understanding and applying behavioural strategies, work with multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma-informed, least-restrictive practice, and provide clinical input to risk assessments, care plans and crisis prevention

Responsibilities

• Complete functional behavioural assessments for individuals with behaviours that challenge
• Develop and implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans
• Train and support staff in understanding and applying behavioural strategies
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to promote trauma-informed, least-restrictive practice
• Provide clinical input to risk assessments, care plans, and crisis prevention strategies
• Monitor and evaluate progress, adapting interventions where necessary
• Support referral assessments and contribute to funding/clinical justifications
