Job summary

Voyage Care in Manchester seeks a Behavioural Support Practitioner to promote least restrictive practice and embed a trauma-informed culture at the Ruddington View residential service. You will collaborate with managers, external professionals and families to promote meaningful outcomes and a PBS framework.

You will lead practice leadership, guiding teams in behavioural analysis, developing functional analyses and Positive Behaviour Support Plans to help people we support gain more independence

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a related field with at least two years of applicable experience
• Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis or related field with one year of professional experience
• Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology or Equivalent Qualification.

Responsibilities

• Develop functional behavioural analysis and Positive Behaviour Support Plans
• Attend multi-disciplinary meetings and promote reflective practice
• Embed a therapeutic PBS model at the service in collaboration with the management team
• Lead and coach teams in PBS to improve outcomes and independence for people we support
• Promote least restrictive practice and trauma-informed culture

Education

Bachelor's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis

Master's degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis

Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Psychology
