Job summary

Enable is seeking a dynamic Practice Development Practitioner to advance Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) across its Care services in Scotland. The role works within the Practice Development Team to embed PBS and person-centred approaches, supporting teams to improve life outcomes for the people we support.

The postholder collaborates with people supported, families, teams, and external partners to drive assessment, planning, implementation and review of PBS interventions while promoting

Qualifications

• SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
• Graduate in recognised Positive Behaviour Support qualification at Certificate level or be willing to work towards.
• Knowledge of person-centred, outcomes-focused approaches.
• Understanding of PBS and its application to improve quality of life.
• Knowledge of Care Inspectorate, National Care Standards, SSSC requirements, and relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

• Embed PBS and person-centred approaches across services.
• Support learning, coaching, and reflective practice within teams.
• Assist in assessment, planning, implementation, and review of PBS interventions.
• Work flexibly across Scotland to meet service and organisational needs.
