Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate Behaviour Mentor to support primary pupils across mainstream and SEND settings in North Bristol. You will help children overcome barriers to learning, build social and emotional skills, and work closely with teachers and families.

The role offers flexible hours where possible, a welcoming team, ongoing training, and a chance to make a lasting difference in the local community.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary-aged children, especially those with SEND or behavioural needs.
• Calm, patient and able to maintain high expectations.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in mainstream classrooms and SEND provisions.
• Assist with behaviour management and inclusive practices.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement inclusive activities.

A school in North Bristol are seeking a caring and motivated Behaviour Mentor to work across their vibrant primary setting, supporting children within both mainstream classrooms and a specialist SEND provision. This flexible role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of children with a range of needs, including social, emotional and mental health difficulties, communication needs, autism and complex learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
