Job summary

Bright Futures is seeking an experienced PBS Lead to join our Specialist Support Team and embed Positive Behaviour Support across our residential and education services. You will provide expert advice, coaching and practice leadership to help staff understand behaviour function and apply person-centred strategies.

You will work with operational leaders, using PBS knowledge, functional behaviour assessments and data to turn insights into practical improvements that support independence and reduce

Qualifications

• Passionate about person-centred, evidence-based practice.
• Experienced in PBS and behavioural assessment, including Functional Behaviour Assessments.
• Confident analysing behaviour, data and environmental factors to understand why behaviour happens.
• Skilled at coaching, training and developing the confidence of others.
• Comfortable providing constructive challenge and influencing practice.
• Able to build strong relationships with operational and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, coaching, training and practice leadership to help teams understand the function of behaviour and put effective, person-centred strategies into practice.
• Work closely with operational leaders to identify opportunities for improvement using PBS, observation, data and Functional Behaviour Assessments.
• Turn insights into practical, sustainable approaches that improve outcomes and reduce restrictive practices.
