Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Lead to drive a high-quality PBS approach across our settings. You will co-produce with children and their families to identify needs and develop individualised plans, while coaching staff to apply person-centred PBS effectively.

You will lead training for teams, model best practice, and support colleagues to implement plans that improve quality of life for our young people in our care.

Qualifications

• Three years' experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs.
• Relevant SEN/Health & Social Care qualification.
• In-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
• Understanding of individual behaviour support plans and risk assessments.
• Experience delivering training needs.
• Experience working in partnership with young people and families.
• Ability to support others to understand behaviours and collaborate to create proactive strategies.
• Highly organised and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Develop, organise, and deliver high-quality PBS approach.
• Co-produce with children and families to identify needs and develop effective individualised plans.
• Lead staff training and coach on individualised plans.
