Job summary

Witherslack Group is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Lead to drive person-centred PBS across our Westbury site. You will support staff teams to create environments where young people can thrive, co-produce individual plans with families and deliver high-quality PBS training and coaching.

You’ll bring at least three years’ SEN experience, a SEN/Health & Social Care qualification, and in-depth PBS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
• A relevant SEN/Health & Social Care qualification
• In-depth knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
• Understanding of behaviour support plans, risk assessments and targeted support
• Experience identifying and delivering training needs
• Experience working in partnership with young people and families
• Ability to support others to understand behaviours and implement proactive strategies

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of PBS approaches to help young people develop skills
• Support staff with person-centred PBS training and coaching
• Co-produce plans with children and families to identify needs
• Develop, organise and deliver high-quality PBS programs
