Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a detail-focused Post Management Assistant to support the creation, maintenance and governance of Positions in Oracle Fusion HCM. This role ensures organisational structure, reporting lines and Position data stay accurate and aligned with Finance systems and University policy.

You will be a key contact across People & OD, Finance and other stakeholders, helping maintain data integrity, support updates to Position structures and contribute to Employee and

Qualifications

• Experience with HR systems and data governance is desirable.
• Ability to extract, manipulate and interpret data for reporting.
• Comfort engaging with colleagues at all levels to provide frontline support.
• Understanding of data protection principles and privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support via telephone and email to colleagues.
• Set up and maintain Positions on Oracle Fusion HCM, with proper authorisation and timely updates.
• Work with Employment Services to ensure position changes are processed accurately.
• Maintain funding information and ensure finance codes are active ahead of payroll deadlines.
• Support alignment of Position data across People & OD and Finance systems.
