Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a detail-focused Post Management Assistant to support creation, maintenance and governance of Positions within Oracle Fusion HCM. You will ensure accurate organisational structures, reporting lines and Position data aligned with Finance and University policy.

Joining the People Systems team, you will be a key contact across People & OD, Finance and stakeholders, helping to maintain data integrity and support self-service enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and admin skills with the ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and data integrity.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM or similar HR/payroll systems; data extraction and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide frontline support via phone and email to colleagues.
• Set up and maintain Positions on Oracle Fusion HCM with appropriate authorisation.
• Work with Employment Services to ensure accurate Position changes.
• Maintain accurate Position funding info with finance codes ahead of payroll.
• Align Position data across People & OD and Finance systems.
• Maintain Position-to-Position reporting structures and support reorganisations.
• Produce data quality reports and investigate anomalies in funding or codes.
• Support HESA data requirements through monthly housekeeping.
