Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to join our Clifton, Bristol team. You will manage a portfolio of properties, oversee maintenance, compliance and day-to-day management while delivering an outstanding experience for landlords and tenants.

The role offers a £28,000 basic salary with a realistic £32,000+ OTE, plus opportunities for growth, CeLAP qualifications funding, and a vibrant team environment.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Manager - Clifton, Bristol

Salary: £28,000 basic + realistic OTE £32,000+

We're recruiting for an experienced Portfolio Manager to join a successful, award-winning property management team based in Clifton, Bristol.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven property professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, building strong landlord relationships, and ensuring properties are managed to the highest standards.

You’ll take ownership of a portfolio of managed properties, overseeing maintenance, compliance, and day-to-day property management while helping to deliver an exceptional experience for both landlords and tenants.

Previous experience in property management and client relationship management is essential. Experience in student lettings would be an advantage but is not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for portfolio landlords, building strong and lasting relationships.
• Manage reactive maintenance issues and implement proactive property maintenance plans.
• Conduct property visits and ensure properties meet all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Handle landlord and tenant enquiries, complaints, and issues professionally and efficiently.
• Lead and coordinate the student changeover process, ensuring a smooth and well-organised transition.
• Support and mentor junior team members, setting a positive example across the team.
• Stay up to date with lettings legislation and ensure compliance is maintained across the portfolio.
• Help drive landlord retention, portfolio growth, and overall team performance.

Working Hours & Location

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am-5:30pm.

No regular weekend working, although occasional weekend support may be required during the student changeover period, with prior notice.
