Skipton Building Society is seeking an experienced Governance & Assurance Lead to shape how enterprise change is governed, assured and improved across the group. You’ll deliver strong governance, transparency and independent insight to influence executive decision-making.

The role sits in the Technology umbrella with a hybrid pattern—three days in Skipton and two days remote—supporting change at scale and strengthening risk controls.

Qualifications

• Proven governance, assurance and oversight across complex portfolios or Agile Release Trains.
• Experience producing executive/board reporting and challenging senior leaders.
• Qualifications in SAFe, PRINCE2, P3O or similar plus change-management focus.

Responsabilités

• Govern and assure enterprise-change initiatives with transparency and control.
• Advise senior leaders with independent insights and recommendations.
• Shape a SAFe-aligned governance framework for delivery at scale.
• Lead portfolio health reviews and identify risks and improvement actions.
• Provide governance reporting to executives and the board.
