A leading insurance group in London seeks an analytical professional to join their Underwriting Strategy and Central Portfolio Management team. The role involves supporting the Portfolio Analyst and Manager with reporting, analysis, and stakeholder communication. The Underwriting Strategy and Central Portfolio Management team works at the heart of the business to shape Chaucer’s underwriting growth and transformation strategy, and actively supports its implementation.
The team has three main workstreams: underwriting strategy; portfolio management; and underwriting operational change. This role will sit within the portfolio management workstream and work extensively with the Portfolio Analyst who reports into the Portfolio Manager. The primary responsibility for this role is to support the Portfolio Analyst and Manager by maintaining the reporting suite and performing regular portfolio analysis, monitoring, reporting and stakeholder communications. Secondary responsibility is to support the other two workstreams within the wider team to effectively execute the team’s duties and deliver on the objectives as and when required.
