Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Part-time FM Assistant - Portering based at St Margaret's Hospital. The role is 15 hours per week, Thursday and Friday from 07:00 to 15:30.

Band 2 and pay at £12.92 per hour (£25,272 per annum pro rata) reflect the commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and staff. The FM team handles cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering services.

Qualifications

• Be within a reasonable travelling distance
• Driver's license
• Working visa and residency within the UK

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of the in-house FM services to a specified area within the Trust, including wards, admin/clinical areas and outlets.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors in line with National Standards of Cleanliness.
• Follow the attached job description and work schedules; be flexible and able to prioritise duties.
• Adhere to the FM services covering cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering as applicable.
