Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an FM Assistant covering Colchester/Clacton and Admin Units. The role is Band 2, offering £12.92 per hour (£25,272 per annum pro rata) with various hours available across a seven-day rota.

Key duties include cleaning across patient areas and admin spaces, temperature checks for cook-chill meals, dishwashing, and providing a range of FM services. Flexible, customer-focused approach essential.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas required in the work schedules which include toilets, corridors, offices, clinic rooms, store rooms, etc.
• Take and record temperatures of cook chill food prior to regeneration and ensure temperatures are recorded at end of cycle.
• Responsible for cleaning crockery and cutlery.
• Participate in the provision of FM services across specified areas (in-patient wards, admin/clinical areas, retail outlets).
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors in line with National Standards of Cleanliness.
