Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is hiring a permanent FM Assistant - Portering in Epping. The role offers a Band 2 salary of £12.92 per hour (£25,272 per annum pro rata) for 15 hours per week, with visa sponsorship available for eligible applicants.

The FM Assistant will contribute to facilities management across wards, clinical spaces and offices, performing cleaning, catering, portering, bed making and laundering to support safe, high-quality NHS care.

Qualifications

• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment in line with National Standards of Cleanliness.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to duties and working hours.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices relevant to a hospital environment.
• For foreign applicants, eligibility to work in the UK with a Skilled Worker visa is required.
