Job summary

EPUT is hiring for a Band 2 Portering/Facilities role at St Margaret’s Hospital in Epping. The post is 15 hours per week (Thu & Fri, 07:00–15:30) with a pro rata salary of £25,272 per year. The job involves supporting in-house FM services across wards, admin areas and retail outlets.

It requires a flexible, customer‑facing approach, ability to work weekends occasionally, and compliance with DBS pre‑employment checks. Closing date 10 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the provision of in-house FM services to a specified area within the Trust (wards, admin/clinical areas, retail outlets).
• Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors in line with National Standards of Cleanliness.
• Be part of the Facilities Team with a flexible approach and good prioritisation of duties.
