Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a portering and facilities support role at St Margaret's Hospital. The post covers cleaning, portering, bed making and laundry across wards and admin areas on a part-time basis.

The role is 15 hours per week over Thursday and Friday, 07:00 to 15:30, with job-share options welcomed. Local applicants with the right to work in the UK are encouraged to apply.

• Follow the job description, work schedules and instructions.
• Work flexibly across the facilities services, including unit-specific tasks where they apply.
• Prioritise and organise own duties using initiative.

This portering post sits in the in-house facilities team at St Margaret's Hospital, within Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. The work covers cleaning, portering and bed making across assigned wards and clinical or admin areas, held to the National Standards of Cleanliness. The post is 15 hours a week over Thursday and Friday, 07:00 to 15:30, and job shares are welcomed. Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and live locally.
