Job summary

Christchurch Harbour Hotel is seeking a friendly Day Porter to support the reception team with guest arrivals and departures. You’ll need a can-do attitude, a flexible approach, and a passion for customer service; physical fitness is essential as some luggage may need carrying.

Previous hotel experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided. The role offers excellent progression opportunities within Harbour Hotels and staff discounts across properties, with meals

The role…

We have a superb opportunity for a Day Porter who will support the reception team with the arrival and departure of our guests. You will need to have a friendly and outgoing personality, a can-do attitude, a flexible approach to work and a passion for customer service excellence. Aspects of this job may involve carrying luggage therefore physical fitness is essential. Previous experience of working in a hotel environment is desirable although not essential as fully training will be given
