Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a highly organised Helpdesk Operator (Portals) to support daily operations and customer service. The role involves managing client portals, uploading certificates, and providing timely updates to clients via email or phone.

Hourly pay rate: £13.45. Working Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, with opportunities for overtime and a range of flexible benefits. This position offers a supportive team environment within Mitie’s facilities management division.

Qualifications

• Highly organised and detail oriented.
• Experience with client portals or ticketing systems is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and update client portals with relevant job information and documentation.
• Upload certificates and ensure completed jobs are properly closed in internal systems.
• Communicate with clients via email/phone to provide updates and respond to queries.
• Provide timely updates on escalated issues to relevant teams.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service when interacting with clients.
• Read and interpret engineers' notes to accurately update systems.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems.
• Strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
