Job summary

Police Scotland Transformation is seeking a governance and business support professional to join the Senior Leadership Team. You will coordinate resourcing, committees, communications, reporting, records management and continuous improvement to deliver transformational priorities.

You will work closely with senior leaders and stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making and enabling programmes that deliver real benefits for colleagues and the communities we serve.

Qualifications

• Governance and reporting skills.
• Budget and resourcing coordination.
• Records management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support report submissions including resourcing and budget submissions, liaising with finance and HR.
• Prepare and collate Board and committee papers, drafting covering papers as needed.
• Maintain information related to the service such as organisational structures, business continuity, and SCOPE information.
• Lead departmental support including management of internal department communications.
• Maintain the departmental training matrix, collate training needs and work with the Senior Leadership team to approve, procure and organise training offerings.
