Job summary

Wayfair, a global home solutions retailer, is seeking a Category Manager to shape the Poland supplier strategy from London with a hybrid work pattern (Mon–Thu in-office, Fri remote). You will lead supplier growth, negotiate pricing, and use data to accelerate sales and profitability.

Ideal candidates have ecommerce, retail, or consulting background, fluency in Polish and English, and strong leadership to manage 2–3 category associates. You’ll partner with diverse teams to drive business impact.

Qualifications

• Proven ecommerce, retail, or management consulting experience.
• Fluency in Polish and English required.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management with senior suppliers.
• Entrepreneurial self-starter who can hit the ground running.
• Ability to set targets, execute plans, delegate, and track progress.

Responsibilities

• Own Poland country plan to hit revenue and profitability targets.
• Identify, pitch, and secure key Polish suppliers on-site when needed.
• Negotiate pricing and promotional support with suppliers.
• Analyze data to spot profit growth opportunities for category and partners.
• Drive catalogue expansion and supplier relationships for new items.
• Collaborate with Planning, Advertising, Merchandising, Operations, Finance, BI.
• Benchmark competitors for marketing, selection, and pricing strategies.
• Attend 4–6 tradeshows annually to meet suppliers.
• Lead a team of ~2–3 category associates and guide development.
