You will monitor system performance, support loading activities, and work closely with factory and transport teams to coordinate volumes, with rotating days and nights on-site.

Overview

We areseeking a POD Operator to join our team in Hull. This role isresponsible for overseeing a fully automated loading process located on ourcustomer site, ensuring products are moved efficiently from production throughto trailer loading while maintaining strict temperature control and operationalstandards. You will play a key role in monitoring system performance,supporting loading activities, and ensuring the smooth operation of the PODfacility.

Location: Client Site - Hull
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday/Rotating days and nights (06:00-16:00/18:00-04:00)

KeyResponsibilities

In thisrole, you will monitor automated loading operations using CCTV and systemcontrols to ensure products are loaded correctly and efficiently. You willoversee the loading of automated double-deck trailers, monitor system alertsand product information through warehouse systems, and ensure temperaturerequirements are maintained at all times.

You willwork closely with factory and transport teams to coordinate production volumesand loading activities, while carrying out routine housekeeping and basicmaintenance tasks to support the safe and effective operation of the PODfacility.

You willalso identify and upscale operational issues, maintain a high standard ofhousekeeping, and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of thishighly automated process.

Requirements

We'relooking for someone with strong IT skills and an interest in automated systemsand technology. Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, manufacturing,or operational environment would be beneficial.

You will beself-motivated, reliable, and comfortable working independently in a role basedon a customer site. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and theability to respond effectively to operational issues are essential. We arelooking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and committed to maintaininghigh standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.
