Job summary

NewCold is seeking a POD Operator in Hull to oversee an automated loading process on a client site, ensuring products move efficiently from production through trailer loading while maintaining strict temperature control and safety standards.

You will monitor system performance, support loading activities, and work closely with factory and transport teams to coordinate volumes, with rotating days and nights on-site.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills and an interest in automated systems.
• Experience in a warehouse/logistics environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently on a customer site with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Monitor automated loading operations using CCTV and system controls.
• Oversee loading of automated double-deck trailers and maintain temperature requirements.
• Coordinate with factory and transport teams to align production and loading activities.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support safe operation of the POD facility.
