Job summary

NewCold Group in Wakefield is seeking an Operator to monitor our automated warehouse systems and ensure safe, efficient operation. The role involves fault response, maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement across equipment and processes.

The successful candidate will have a good grasp of warehouse logistics, be proactive, safety-focused, and comfortable using warehouse software. A strong team player with clear communication is essential. The shift pattern is 4 on/4 off (days/nights).

Overview:

We areseeking an Operator to join our team. The role involves monitoringwarehouse systems and processes to ensure the safe and efficient operation ofthe automated warehouse, identifying issues, responding to faults, andsupporting the smooth running of warehouse operations.

Location: Wakefield
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off rotating days/nights (06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00)

KeyResponsibilities:

In thisrole, you will monitor warehouse hardware and software systems, respond tooperational faults, carry out repair and maintenance activities, and supportthe effective operation of the automated warehouse. You will identify risks andanomalies, take corrective action where required, complete associatedadministrative tasks, and work closely with colleagues to maintain operationalperformance and drive continuous improvement.
