Job summary

BT Group in Bristol is seeking a PMO Professional to provide governance and delivery support across complex contracts. You will help ensure governance, reporting, risk management and assurance to support high-quality customer outcomes.

Working with stakeholders, you will shape PMO processes, improve ways of working, and build a long-term career within our PMO community. Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to deliver project governance, stage-gate controls and board reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work independently, influence others and drive actions through to completion.
• Ability to create clear reporting and delivery insights using PMO tools and data to support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality PMO services across customer contracts, ensuring governance, reporting, controls and assurance activities are consistently applied and add value to delivery outcomes.
• Manage programme governance activities including project gating, board governance, reporting cycles, action tracking, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Partner with stakeholders to define, document and embed effective PMO processes and ways of working across new and existing contracts.
• Analyse delivery information and produce clear, decision-ready reporting and insights that support programme and leadership decision-making.
• Improve PMO effectiveness through continuous improvement, simplification, automation and the adoption of consistent tools, standards and best practice.
