Job summary

BT Group in Bristol is seeking a Contract Specialist to own the P&L and oversee contracts from mobilisation through delivery and termination. You will collaborate with commercial, programme, legal, finance, procurement and operations to ensure obligations are understood and risks are managed.

The role emphasizes commercial insight, governance and stakeholder engagement across customer engagements, with a focus on continuous improvement and compliant contract execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing contracts across lifecycle with governance.
• Understanding of contract pricing, P&L and cost allocation.
• Ability to assess risks and manage commercial implications.
• Proven stakeholder management across multi-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, organization and attention to detail.
• Willingness to obtain SC Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage P&L performance of Defence contracts.
• Manage contracts from creation to exit/termination.
• Ensure governance and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement and operations.
• Identify risks, opportunities and drive continuous improvements.
• Engage with customers and third-party partners.
• Develop exit and termination plans.
