Job summary

Howden is a global life and health Insurance broker seeking a Renewals Sales Professional in Gloucester. You will manage PMI policy renewals, maintain client records, and work toward KPIs including call activity, retention, and conversion. A proactive, customer-focused approach and resilience in challenging conversations are essential.

This is a hybrid role (3 days from home, 2 days in the office) working full-time (39 hours/week). Prior sales experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and drive to meet targets.
• Confident with handling objections and challenging conversations.
• Willingness to learn and build product knowledge through training.

Responsibilities

• Manage a pipeline of PMI policy renewals and contact clients ahead of renewal date.
• Maintain accurate client records across multiple systems.
• Achieve daily and monthly KPIs including call activity and retention rates.
• Take ownership of personal performance and seek feedback to improve call quality.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and market developments and apply in conversations.
• Handle a high volume of inbound/outbound calls and emails guiding clients through renewals.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell where appropriate.
• Deliver compliant advice in line with regulatory standards.
