Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is looking for an experienced Plumbing Lecturer/Trainer to join an FE college on a rolling 6-month contract. The role is on site and commutable from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Hereford, Swindon, Worcester and surrounding areas, paying £35-£46 per hour inside IR35.

You will deliver engaging plumbing teaching and practical training, assess apprentices toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards, and coach learners to reach their full potential.

Are you an experienced plumbing Installation Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced plumbing professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training or Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

The Person:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in plumbing
• Current or previous industry experience working in plumbing or similar industries

• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
