Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Gas Assessor for an immediately available contract role at a well-established FE College. You will deliver practical teaching, assess apprentices and support learners working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

This rolling 3-month contract (potentially temp-to-perm) offers £40-£50 per hour inside IR35 and requires Level 3 Plumbing and Level 3 Gas/Heating Engineering, with industry experience and teaching or assessing

Qualifications

• FE/training experience preferred.
• Teaching or assessing apprentices is advantageous.
• Level 3 Plumbing and Level 3 Gas/Heating Engineering required.
• Current or previous industry experience in plumbing or related trades.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in Plumbing & Gas sectors.
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards.
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners.

Plumbing & Gas Assessor

Filed based commutable from Northampton, Coventry, Bedford, Peterborough, Banbury and surrounding areas

3 months Rolling Contract Or Temp to perm, your preference)

Are you an experienced plumbing & Gas Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced plumbing & Gas professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You’ll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training/ Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Plumbing & Gas sector
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards

• £40 - £50 - 3 Month Rolling Contract

The Person:

• Level 3 Plumbing

• Level 3 Gas / Heating Engineering

• Current or previous industry experience working in plumbing or similar industries

• Teaching qualification (desirable)

• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous

• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
