Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Plumbing & Heating Lecturer/Trainer for an on-site role in Northampton. Two roles available: 40-50 per hour inside IR35, 3 months rolling contract or temp-to-perm, with one full-time position and another three days a week.

Ideal candidates have FE teaching experience, with Level 3 Plumbing/Heating and Level 3 Gas/Heating Engineering qualifications. DBS check is required, and experience delivering training or assessments is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification is desirable
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the plumbing sector

• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners

Are you an experienced plumbing & Heating Lecturer, Trainer or Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced plumbing & Heating professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training/ Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:
