Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Gas Assessor for an immediate contract at a well-known FE college in Doncaster. You will deliver practical and classroom training, assess apprentices, and provide coaching to help learners achieve their qualifications.

The role suits someone with FE experience who can support apprenticeship programs, pass on knowledge to the next generation of engineers, and obtain an Enhanced DBS check. Rolling six-month contract with on-site work.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 Plumbing and Level 3 Gas/Heating Engineering.
• Teaching/lecturing/assessing apprentices is advantageous.
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Plumbing & Gas sector.
• Assess and support apprentices toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards.
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners.

Plumbing & Gas Assessor

40 - 50+ per hour inside IR35

Filed based commutable Doncaster Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Worksop, Scunthorpe and surrounding areas

6 months Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced plumbing & Gas Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced plumbing & Gas professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training/ Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Plumbing & Gas sector
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards

• 40 - 50 - 6 Month Rolling Contract

The Person:

• Level 3 Plumbing
• Level 3 Gas / Heating Engineering
• Current or previous industry experience working in plumbing or similar industries
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
