Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Plumbing & Gas Assessor for an immediately available contract role at a respected FE college in the Doncaster area. You will deliver practical teaching, assess apprentices and provide coaching to help learners achieve NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

The ideal candidate has Level 3 Plumbing and Level 3 Gas/Heating Engineering, with industry background and a teaching qualification preferred.

Plumbing & Gas Assessor

£40 - £50+ per hour inside IR35

Filed based commutable Doncaster Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley, Worksop, Scunthorpe and surrounding areas

6 months Rolling Contract

Are you an experienced plumbing & Gas Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced plumbing & Gas professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You’ll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training/ Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Plumbing & Gas sector
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
• £40 - £50 - 6 Month Rolling Contract

The Person:

• Level 3 Plumbing

• Level 3 Gas / Heating Engineering

• Current or previous industry experience working in plumbing or similar industries

• Teaching qualification (desirable)

• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous

• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
