Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is sourcing an experienced Plumbing & Gas Assessor for a renowned FE college. You will deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Plumbing & Gas sector and assess apprentices working toward NVQ and apprenticeship standards.

Ideal candidates have experience in FE, apprenticeships, or technical training and can coach and mentor learners while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Plumbing or equivalent
• Experience delivering training, lecturing or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Teaching qualification is desirable

Plumbing & Gas Assessor

40 - 50 per hour inside IR35

Filed based commutable from Northampton, Coventry, Bedford, Peterborough, Banbury and surrounding areas

3 months Rolling Contract Or Temp to perm, your preference)

Are you an experienced plumbing & Gas Assessor looking for your next immediately available contract role, working in a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced plumbing & Gas professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of engineers?

You’ll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out workplace assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training/ Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training in the Plumbing & Gas sector
• Assess and support apprentices working towards NVQ and apprenticeship standards
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to learners
• 40 - 50 - 3 Month Rolling Contract

The Person:

• Level 3 Plumbing
• Level 3 Gas / Heating Engineering
• Current or previous industry experience working in plumbing or similar industries
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
