Responsibilities

• Control stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
• Merchandise the showroom and shop floor professionally.

The Opportunity

Working within the Plumbing & Heating department, the Plumbing & Heating Manager plays an important role in driving sales, developing customer relationships and ensuring the department operates efficiently and profitably.

Responsibilities

• Driving sales and identifying opportunities to increase departmental revenue and profitability
• Providing customers with knowledgeable advice across a range of plumbing and heating products
• Managing agreed customer pricing and ensuring commercial terms are maintained
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers
• Managing stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks
• Ensuring the Plumbing & Heating showroom and shop floor are well presented and professionally merchandised
• Processing customer orders and sales accurately, including invoicing
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the department
• Supporting the wider branch team and carrying out other reasonable duties associated with the position
