Job summary

Octopus Energy Services is hiring plumbers to install air source heat pumps across England. You’ll work with a two-person team at customers' homes, delivering low-carbon heating solutions and learning new technologies at our R&D training centre.

The role includes on-site installation, planning with the team, and commitment to excellent customer service. Training is provided, with full UK driving license required and a three-year track record in domestic heating.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent.
• Gas qualification CCN1 and CENWAT with at least three years.
• Experience on the wet side of domestic heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a two-person team to install low carbon technology in customers' homes, starting with Air Source Heat Pumps.
• Install unvented cylinders, pipework, and radiators using knowledge of domestic heating systems.
• Plan and communicate with the wider team and customers.
• Continuously learn about new technologies at our R&D training centre.

Gas Qualified CCN1 & CENWAT

Domestic heating systems experience

Full UK driving licence (≤6 points)
