Job summary
Octopus Energy Group is recruiting Plumbing and Heating Engineers to install Air Source Heat Pumps in the Cumbria/Carlisle area. You will work with a team to fit low carbon heating systems and receive full training at our £10m training centre.
You will review technical specs, collaborate with electricians to commission units, and lead a crew to deliver great customer experiences. Candidates should have an NVQ level 2 in Plumbing & Heating and a full driving licence; gas Safe certification and
Qualifications
- Experience in installing boilers and basic knowledge of heating systems.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of domestic hot and cold water systems.
- Desirable: basic electrical levels and hydraulic system design knowledge.
- F-gas knowledge is advantageous but not required.
Responsibilities
- Install low carbon technology in customers' homes (Air Source Heat Pumps).
- Learn and apply new technologies at the training centre.
- Lead a team and empower crew to make decisions for customers.
- Coordinate with electricians to commission heat pumps.
- Review and challenge technical drawings and specifications.
