Job summary

Amey, as part of the MoJ account, seeks a permanent Plumber to join the facilities management team at HMP Brinsford. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance, repair mains water supply, and carry out fault finding with a focus on safe, compliant systems.

You'll participate in inspections, water sampling, and risk assessments, with on-call duties on a rotating schedule. A valid UK driving licence and NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance.
• Experience in operating light plant.
• Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMPYOI Brinsford.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, working between 07.45 till 16.45 Mon - Thurs and 07.45 until 15.45 Fri. There will be a need to work 1 in 4 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). On call will be 1 in 12 weeks.

The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience.
