Job summary

Amey is offering a permanent Plumber role at HMP Onley as part of the Ministry of Justice account, delivering essential facilities management services across the site.

You will undertake routine and non-routine maintenance, mains water repairs, fault finding and risk assessments, plus duties commensurate with the role. The position is 39 hours per week, on a rota including some weekend work with an additional 15% basic salary allowance.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with practical maintenance experience.
• Experience in a commercial environment is desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Plumber in HMP Onley.

The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week. The standard hours of work are39 hours per week.Staff are required to work on a rota basis between8am – 5pm.There will be a need to work 1 in 3 weekends, but this would be on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary).

The base salary is between £30,866 - £36,135 dependant on experience.

What you will do:

• Routine and non-routine maintenance.

• Any other duties commensurate with the role.

What you will bring:

• NVQ level 2 in Plumbing and Heating with experience in plumbing maintenance
• Experience in operating light plant
• Legionella awareness and compliance is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in a commercial environment
