Job summary

National Grid in Warwick is seeking a Platform Tooling Analyst to join us on a permanent hybrid basis.

You will administer platform and SaaS tooling, manage licences, control access, and handle routine user requests.

You will maintain tooling records, support renewals and supplier engagement, and implement governance controls. The role requires clear communication with product teams, users and operators, plus independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience with licence, subscription or renewal activity, including gathering usage data and validating demand.
• Experience in tooling administration, service operations, IT, data, digital platforms or SaaS support in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with SaaS administration, licence management, service desk processes or supplier-facing support.
• Strong knowledge of access, roles, permissions and licences across enterprise tooling.

Responsibilities

• Act as a skilled individual contributor for platform and SaaS tooling administration, ensuring reliable access, licence control and user enablement across Electric Transmission.
• Manage day-to-day tooling requests, provide first- and routine second-line support, maintain tooling data, and support renewal and supplier activities.
• Administer a defined portfolio of platform and SaaS tools, controlling access, roles and licences per standards.
• Triage and resolve user requests, escalate complex issues as needed.
• Maintain records of users, licences, roles, permissions, renewals and tooling usage to support governance and renewal planning.
