Job summary

GlobalLogic in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Platform SME to drive platform engineering, automation, and scalable CI/CD practices across client projects. You will build reusable components, champion security-first engineering, and shape how teams adopt and use platform tooling.

The role focuses on authoring agentic tooling, refining templates, and partnering with federated teams to deliver robust, self-service solutions while maintaining documentation and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Hands-on with GitLab CI and infrastructure tooling.
• Security-first engineering mindset.
• Ability to work autonomously on complex technical problems.
• Experience with developer platforms and internal libraries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reusable CI/CD templates and infrastructure patterns.
• Develop Claude Code skills and MCP servers for AI tooling.
• Implement golden path templates and security guardrails.
• Maintain distribution of platform assets and documentation.
• Collaborate with federated platform teams and respond to feedback.
• Write docs and examples to enable self-service.
• Participate in design reviews with Platform Team Lead.
