Job summary

Virgin Media O2 is seeking a Platform Tech Lead in London to translate technical vision into robust, scalable delivery. You will act as the technical authority across the platform, guiding architecture reviews and implementation strategies while ensuring production readiness and quality across partner efforts.

You’ll influence external partners, align with governance standards, and collaborate with frontend, backend and cloud teams to maintain consistency and long-term platform health.

Qualifications

• Experience leading technical delivery across frontend, backend and cloud platforms.
• Ability to review and assure architecture and engineering quality.
• Deep knowledge of Node.js, Next.js and GCP.
• Experience enforcing performance, resilience and security requirements.
• Ability to influence external partners while upholding governance.
