Job summary

Oliver Bernard is seeking a Platform Support Engineer to join a fast-growing London-based SaaS company. The role focuses on supporting production services across cloud, DevOps and platform operations, with ownership of operational health and visible impact on the product.

Expect incident management, automation projects, and contributions to architecture decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong APIs/SQL knowledge, DevOps experience, and coding skills in Python or Java, with a solid grasp

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of application support, including APIs, data and SQL, monitoring and integration.
• Experience in operational support, DevOps and/or platform environments.
• Understanding of coding with Python, Java, etc.
• Good understanding of web applications and cloud technologies is beneficial.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.

Platform Support Engineer - £50K - London

Our client is fast growing Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company, based in central London.

Within their growing Support team they’re looking to hire a technical Platform / DevOps Support Engineer.

You’ll work across Cloud, DevOps and Platform operations, supporting production services.

You’ll be key in the day-to-day operational health of the company's products and end user support - Having real ownership of your work and good visiblity.

Project work will cover not only incident management and resolution but automation projects and even new software and application architecture.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of application support - APIs, data and SQL, monitoring and integration
• Experience of operational support, DevOps and / or platform
• An understanding of coding - Python, Java etc
• Good understanding of web applications and Cloud would be ideal
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
