Job summary

Oliver Bernard is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company in central London to hire a technical Platform / DevOps Support Engineer. You’ll work across cloud, DevOps and platform operations, supporting production services and owning the day-to-day health of the company’s products.

Project work includes incident management, automation, and contributing to new software architecture, with a focus on APIs, data, SQL and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of APIs, data and SQL in application support.
• Experience in operational support, DevOps or platform.
• Understanding of Python and Java coding.
• Good understanding of web applications and cloud environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage incidents and resolve disruptions in production.
• Contribute to automation projects and platform improvements.
• Own day-to-day health of production services and visibility.
• Contribute to new software architecture and implementation.
