Job summary

Cradlepoint in the United Kingdom is seeking a specialist to manage broadcast platforms and incident handling. You will investigate, diagnose and resolve live platform issues, perform routine checks and respond to alerts to maintain service integrity.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering and subject-matter experts while developing your technical and operational capabilities in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our assigned technical platforms, systems, interdependencies and operational risks.
  • Carry out first-line investigation and resolution of platform, system and application issues.
  • Perform daily system checks to verify operational integrity.
  • Respond promptly to system dashboard alarms and Talkback queries.
  • Investigate and resolve transmission-affecting incidents and faults.
  • Log, update and manage incident tickets using Jira.
  • Complete pre- and post-implementation checks following system changes through the Change Request process.
  • Collect and analyse system logs to support investigations into service- and system-impacting issues.
  • Work collaboratively with second-line Platform Engineering teams, Platform Principals and subject-matter experts to capture and share technical knowledge.
  • Take ownership of personal development and proactively build technical and operational capabilities.
