Job summary

Nuvion Tech in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Senior Service Manager to own a portfolio of critical enterprise Platform Services, spanning cloud infrastructure, IAM, APIs, monitoring and observability.

You will lead governance and incident management across a multi‑supplier environment, working with senior stakeholders to drive service maturity and continuous improvement to ensure secure, reliable platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience managing cloud-hosted and enterprise technology services.
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS, IAM, APIs/integration and monitoring/observability.
• Proven experience managing major incidents, problems and operational risk.
• Experience managing multiple technology suppliers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working within a 24x7 operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Own service governance, service models, SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvement.
• Oversee operational performance, availability, capacity and resilience of platform services.
• Lead Major Incident and Problem Management, coordinating technical teams and multiple suppliers.
• Manage strategic relationships with cloud, infrastructure and technology partners.
• Provide service management oversight of change, release and operational readiness.
• Lead service continuity, disaster recovery and resilience activities.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks before they impact critical services.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, Product, Architecture, Cyber Security and technology teams to drive service maturity.
