EDF Trading Limited is seeking a Senior leader to head Platform Operations, ensuring reliable, secure and cost‑effective tech infrastructure. The role covers compute, storage, network, backup, and core platforms across on‑premise, co‑located and cloud environments, driving automation and resilience in support of trading and data platforms.

You will lead a team to manage infrastructure lifecycle, vendor relationships and incident response, delivering robust DR capabilities and cost transparency

Qualifications

• Leadership of enterprise infrastructure and operations teams.
• Ownership of large‑scale cloud and private infrastructure estates.
• Experience in high‑availability trading/mission‑critical environments.
• Automation and modernization programmes in operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Operations for compute, storage, network and core infra.
• Ensure availability, resilience and cybersecurity across all environments.
• Champion Infrastructure‑as‑Code adoption and automation.
• Oversee lifecycle, patching, DR and business continuity.
• Manage suppliers, contracts and Platform Operations budget.
• Develop a high‑performing, automated operations team.
