Job summary

EDF Trading, part of the EDF Group, seeks a senior Platform Operations leader in London. You will own the operational lifecycle of core infrastructure, drive automation and IaC, and ensure security, availability and cost efficiency across on-prem, co-located and cloud environments.

You will lead a diverse team, manage major incidents, and collaborate with trading, data and corporate IT to provide resilient, scalable platform services.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise IT infrastructure and operations teams.
• Proven ability to deliver automation and platform modernisation.
• Exposure to trading/financial services environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Operations for compute, storage, backup and network services.
• Ensure availability, resilience, security and cost-efficiency of core platforms.
• Promote automation, IaC adoption and standardised engineering practices.
• Oversee supplier relationships and budgets for infrastructure technologies.
